How Supernatural Signs and Wonders Point to the End

The word “Supernatural” used to feel like something reserved for Bible times—burning bushes, parting seas, angelic visitations, and prophetic dreams. But for many people today, the conversation has shifted. Reports of miracles, strange spiritual encounters, and even vivid visions are showing up in everyday life—online, in testimonies, and in personal stories that sound too specific to dismiss.

If we’re honest, it can be hard to know what to do with all of it.

Some experiences point people to the reality of God. Others feel dark, confused, or manipulative. And Scripture warns us that as the end draws nearer, spiritual activity—both holy and unholy—won’t quietly fade into the background.

So how should a Bible-believing Christian think about the supernatural in our day? And what does it have to do with the “signs” we’re told to watch for?

The Supernatural Has Always Been Part of the Story

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible assumes a world where the unseen is real:

  • God acts in history with power (Exodus 14; Daniel 6).
  • Angels deliver messages and help God’s people (Luke 1; Acts 12).
  • Demonic forces deceive, afflict, and oppose truth (Mark 5; Ephesians 6:12).
  • Prophets receive visions and warnings (Isaiah 6; Ezekiel 1; Revelation 1).

In other words, the Supernatural isn’t a side topic—it’s woven into the fabric of reality.

What changes in the last days is not that the supernatural suddenly begins, but that spiritual conflict intensifies and deception becomes more aggressive. Jesus said there would be “false Christs, and false prophets” who would show “great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect” (Matthew 24:24, KJV).

That warning matters—because it tells us that “signs and wonders” alone are not proof that something is from God.

Miracles: God’s Power, and Counterfeit Power

The Bible clearly teaches that God performs miracles. He heals, delivers, provides, and confirms His word according to His will (Psalm 103:3; Acts 3:6–8). But Scripture also shows another category: supernatural works meant to mislead.

Second Thessalonians describes the coming of the “man of sin” as being “after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:9, KJV). Revelation speaks of false signs used to deceive the world (Revelation 13:13–14).

So here’s a simple but crucial distinction:

A miracle is not automatically a message from God.

The source and the message must be tested.

God’s wonders align with God’s word. Counterfeit wonders often elevate a personality, promote confusion, weaken biblical doctrine, or encourage spiritual experiences that replace Scripture rather than submit to it.

Angels and Demons: Two Very Different Realities

Modern culture tends to romanticize angels and minimize demons. The Bible does the opposite: it treats both as real, but it warns us not to be naive.

Demons: Deceivers Who Love Religious Language

The enemy doesn’t always show up looking like a horror film. Satan can appear as “an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14, KJV). Demonic influence often works through deception—twisting truth, offering spiritual “shortcuts,” and pushing experiences that feel powerful but lead away from biblical clarity.

This is why discernment matters so much. We’re not told to fear the devil, but we are told to resist him steadfastly (James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8–9).

Why Conversations about the Supernatural are Growing

Many people sense something in the air—like the world is accelerating.

  • Technology is reshaping identity and control.
  • Morality is being redefined at the speed of legislation.
  • Truth is treated as optional.
  • Spiritual hunger is rising, but not always toward Christ.

In that environment, supernatural stories spread fast. Some are genuine. Some are exaggerated. Some are engineered. And some are spiritual traps.

Scripture teaches that the last days will include both:

  • increasing deception (1 Timothy 4:1),
  • increasing lawlessness (Matthew 24:12),
  • and a need for believers to watch (Mark 13:37).

That doesn’t mean we become paranoid. It means we become alert, rooted, and hard to manipulate.

How to Test Signs and Wonders Biblically

Here are practical, simple questions to ask when you hear a supernatural claim:

  1. Does it align with Scripture?
If it contradicts the Bible, reject it—no matter how dramatic it sounds.
  2. What does it produce?
Does it produce repentance, holiness, humility, and love for truth? Or does it produce fixation on the experience?
  3. Who gets the glory?
God’s work points people to Christ, not to a performer, brand, or spiritual celebrity (John 16:14).
  4. Is there pressure, manipulation, or fear?
The enemy loves urgency that bypasses discernment. God leads with truth.
  5. Is it drawing you to the Word—or away from it?
Anything “supernatural” that makes Scripture feel secondary is steering you off course.

The Biggest Sign Isn’t a Wonder—It’s the Word

It’s easy to become addicted to headlines, testimonies, and sensational claims. But the most reliable “sign” we have is what God already told us would happen.

Jesus didn’t tell us to chase miracles. He told us to watch, endure, and stay faithful (Matthew 24; Mark 13). The apostles didn’t build the church on experiences; they built it on Christ, preached truth, and warned believers to test spirits (1 John 4:1).

In the end, the goal isn’t to become a supernatural expert.

The goal is to be a steady Christian—clear-eyed, Scripture-led, and ready.

Keep Watching With Discernment

We are living in a time when the Supernatural is being rebranded, marketed, counterfeited, and weaponized—yet also, in some cases, used by God to awaken people to eternity.

The answer isn’t denial. The answer is discernment.

Stay anchored. Stay watchful. And let every “wonder” drive you back to the One whose Word never fails.

Part One Study – Spiritual Warfare Series Pastor Larry
The next few months we will be talking about our spiritual warfare. It is of the importance that we all have our Bibles with us because it is the word of god that teach us how to fight our enemy. I want you to know that is not my opinions or your that count but it is what the scriptures say. So have your Bible ready at your fingertips because I will be referencing passages quite often and I will even give you time to find them.
Many Christens that I know do not give the bible top place int heir lives and as a result live a struggling or defeated spiritual life. You are not prepared for battle if you do not know your Bible. This must be emphasized repeatedly.
Without your Bible is like me going into battle with my rifle when I was in Vietnam. Every soldier knows that he must be armed when facing his enemy.
I want to look at the passage in our armor. Please open your Bible to what is says in Ephesians 6-17 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: There you have it the word of god is like a sword. The only offensive weapon that is used against our enemies in the spiritual realm. In cross reference to this same thought, please turn to the book of Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Book of the End Days Beast System: https://sjwellfire.com/seal-one-has-opened-book/
In recent years, the topic of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and potential extraterrestrial life has sparked intense curiosity and speculation. However, there are alternative perspectives that suggest a deeper, more sinister agenda at play. This write-up explores the notion of the great alien deception, how it could potentially be used to establish a one world government, and the biblical perspective on these entities as demons or fallen angels.
The great alien deception theory posits that UFO sightings and encounters are not extraterrestrial in nature, but rather a carefully orchestrated plan to deceive humanity. It suggests that these phenomena are part of a larger scheme to manipulate public opinion, erode national sovereignties, and ultimately pave the way for a one world government.
According to biblical scholars, demons are malevolent spiritual beings that are the trapped souls of Giants. The notion that aliens are actually fallen angels aligns with major sightings today and Revelation 12. This vcast we’ll look at Revelation nine that is about spiritual warfare. This truly is a spiritual war and you need to make sure you put on the armor of God.
Scriptural References on Power over Demons and Fallen Angels (KJV):
• Luke 10:19 – “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
• James 4:7 – “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
• Ephesians 6:12 – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
• 1 Peter 5:8 – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”
Protection against Deception:
The Bible provides guidance and reassurance for Christians to resist deception and maintain spiritual discernment.
• 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 – “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
• 1 John 4:1 – “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”
• Matthew 24:24 – “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Christians are encouraged to engage in spiritual warfare, relying on the power of God to overcome the forces of darkness.

• Ephesians 6:11 – “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
• 2 Corinthians 10:4 – “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”
• 1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

There is some really sound evidence that the Las Vegas Alien event is not a hoax although it will be highjacked for evil. When the family prayed, the entity left. Take note of that truth and rebuke all orbs, sightings, etc in the name of Jesus Christ. Do not fall for the false light and the great deception.
