Fire is another powerful symbol used in SJWellfire, representing God’s presence, guidance, and purifying work. Just as God led the Israelites through the desert with a pillar of fire (Exodus 13:21) and the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles as tongues of fire (Acts 2:3), fire symbolizes God’s divine guidance and purging of impurities. It also represents the passion, zeal, and empowerment that believers are called to have in spreading God’s truth and justice, as exemplified in Jeremiah 20:9: “But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones.”
