Old men will have Dreams

• Acts 2:17 (KJV): “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.” This verse is often interpreted as a prophecy that during the last days, or the end times, people will experience heightened spiritual revelation, including through dreams and visions.
• Joel 2:28 (KJV): “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” This verse is also interpreted as a prophecy related to the end times, where old men, among others, will receive dreams as a form of divine revelation.
• Daniel 7:1 (KJV): “In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.” This verse from the book of Daniel in the Old Testament describes how Daniel, a prophet, received dreams and visions that conveyed important messages about future events and end-times prophecies.  AICB

Post Trib Rapture POV

1. The parallel with the Exodus: The end times events can be understood in light of the Old Testament Exodus, where God’s people went through a period of tribulation in Egypt before being delivered by God. Similarly, Christians will go through a period of tribulation before being raptured or gathered by God, just as the Israelites went through tribulation / God’s Wrath before their deliverance in the Exodus. This parallel suggests that the rapture could occur after the tribulation period.
2. The unified story of seals, trumpets, and vials: The book of Revelation describes a series of seals, trumpets, and vials, which are often mis interpreted as sequential events leading up to the culmination of God’s judgment and the second coming of Jesus. While these events may appear to be different stories, they can also be seen as different perspectives or aspects of the same overarching story but with different timelines.   All end with similar context.  This suggests that the events described in Revelation are not be separate and distinct, but rather different angles or details of the end-time events leading up to the rapture and second coming.
3. Christians in the full seven years and martyrdom will be the last 3.5 years: The post-tribulation view holds that Christians will go through the entire tribulation period, and some may even face martyrdom for their faith. This is supported by passages in the Bible that describe believers enduring persecution and tribulation during the end times (e.g., Revelation 13:7, Revelation 20:4). This suggests that Christians will not be raptured before the tribulation, but will go through it.
4. The Millennial Reign: The post-tribulation view aligns with the idea of a literal, physical reign of Christ on earth for 1000 years, known as the Millennial Reign, as described in Revelation 20:1-6. This view sees the rapture and the second coming of Christ as a single event, followed by the Millennial Reign, which is consistent with a post-tribulation timeline. This suggests that the rapture would occur after the tribulation, as believers would be present on earth during the Millennial Reign.  AICB
