I think scripture gets misinterpreted with “one will be taken and the other one left.” What does the sister passage say that is referenced as the days of Noah? We review how this understanding of who is left fits the wheat and the tares parable. Last, we cover the vials and how it replicates God’s protection of the Jews during his wrath on the Egyptians. Did you know the vials are in the later days of the tribulation and it says to be not be caught as a thief. Sounds like Christians are going to be here for the entire tribulation time frame.

The post-tribulation rapture is a theological perspective within Christian eschatology that posits that the rapture, an event in which believers are taken up to be with Jesus, will occur after the period of tribulation as described in the Bible. Here’s a case for a post-tribulation rapture with the seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials all ending on the same “day of the Lord,” tied to the darkening of the sun and moon as mentioned in other scriptures:

1. Interpretation of the “day of the Lord”: The “day of the Lord” is a phrase used in the Bible to refer to a specific period of time associated with God’s judgment and intervention in human history. It is described as a time of great darkness and destruction, often accompanied by celestial signs. Proponents of the post-tribulation rapture view argue that the seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials are all part of the same period of God’s judgment, which culminates in the “day of the Lord.”
2. Correlation between celestial signs and the end of the tribulation: According to the Bible, the sun and moon will be darkened as a sign of the end times (Isaiah 13:10, Joel 2:31, Matthew 24:29). Proponents of the post-tribulation rapture argue that the darkening of the sun and moon mentioned in these scriptures is linked to the events described in the seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials, and will occur at the end of the tribulation period, just before the “day of the Lord.”
3. Parallelism between the seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials: The seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials are described in the book of Revelation as a series of seven events each, which progressively intensify and culminate in God’s final judgment. Proponents of the post-tribulation rapture argue that these events are not meant to be understood as separate and distinct chronological events, but rather as parallel or overlapping descriptions of the same period of tribulation, leading up to the “day of the Lord.” This interpretation suggests that the seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials all end on the same day, just before the “day of the Lord.”
4. The correlation between the “last trumpet” and the rapture: In 1 Corinthians 15:52, the Apostle Paul refers to the rapture as occurring at the “last trumpet.” Proponents of the post-tribulation rapture argue that this “last trumpet” corresponds to the seventh trumpet mentioned in Revelation 11:15, which is sounded just before the bowls or vials of God’s final judgment are poured out. This suggests that the rapture will occur after the events of the seals and trumpets, but before the bowls or vials, placing it towards the end of the tribulation period, just before the “day of the Lord.”

In conclusion, proponents of the post-tribulation rapture view argue that the seals, trumpets, and bowls or vials all culminate on the same “day of the Lord,” with the sun and moon being darkened as signs of the end times. This interpretation suggests that the rapture will occur after the tribulation period, just before the “day of the Lord.”

But there is something about his protection for a timeframe, a place prepared for us in the woods.  For example, in Revelation 12:6, it is mentioned that the woman, who is often interpreted as representing the faithful remnant of God’s people, flees into the wilderness to a place prepared by God, where she is nourished for 1,260 days, which is equivalent to 3.5 years. This period of 3.5 years is also mentioned in Revelation 12:14. Some interpretations suggest that this “wilderness” or “woods” could be a place of refuge or protection that God provides for His people during a time of persecution or tribulation.

The elect are Christians.

The KJV scripture that supports the idea that Israel is the Church with the New Covenant can be found in Romans 11:17-24. In this passage, Paul uses the analogy of an olive tree to explain how gentile believers have been grafted into the tree, which represents Israel. He reminds the gentile believers not to be arrogant but to remember that they are only able to partake of the blessings of the tree because of the roots that belong to Israel.

In Luke 1:32-33, the angel tells Mary that her son Jesus will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High, and that the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. This reinforces the idea that Jesus is the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham that his seed would bless all nations.

As for the concept fulfillment theology, Christians believe that Jesus Christ fulfilled the old covenant and inaugurated the new covenant, and that all who believe in him and are baptized into his death and resurrection are part of the Church, which is the new Israel.

Many Christians will lose their heads in the last days.

1. Matthew 24:9: “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.” In this passage, Jesus is speaking to His disciples about the signs of the end times, and He warns them that they will face affliction and be killed for their faith.
2. Revelation 6:9-11: “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” This passage describes the souls of those who were slain for their faith in God and their testimony, and they cry out to God for justice.
3. Revelation 20:4: “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” This passage mentions those who were beheaded for their witness of Jesus and their refusal to worship the beast, which could be interpreted as a reference to martyrdom during the end times.
4. Revelation 13:7: “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” This verse describes a period of time when the saints, or believers, are overcome by the beast, which could indicate persecution and martyrdom.

These passages from the KJV suggest the possibility of Christians facing persecution, martyrdom, and even beheading during the end times as part of the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.  AICB
