Romans 11-13

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

  1. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Be a wise Christian and get Ready for the Second Coming, Mathew 25 is Key

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Rivers are drying up everywhere including the Euphrates that is in Bible Prophecy…

  1. Colorado River (United States and Mexico): The Colorado River, which flows through several states in the southwestern United States and Mexico, has been facing challenges of reduced water flow due to increased water demand, over-extraction, and climate change. It has experienced declining water levels in major reservoirs, such as Lake Mead and Lake Powell, which have raised concerns about water scarcity in the region.
  2. Yellow River (China): The Yellow River, also known as the “Mother River of China,” has experienced reduced water flow and increased pollution due to human activities, such as water extraction for agriculture, industry, and urbanization, as well as sedimentation and climate change. The lower reaches of the river have been reported to be drying up in recent years, leading to concerns about water scarcity in northern China.
  3. Murray-Darling River (Australia): The Murray-Darling River, Australia’s longest river system, has been facing challenges of reduced water flow, declining water quality, and environmental degradation due to over-extraction for agriculture, climate change, and drought conditions. Several parts of the river and its tributaries have experienced reduced water levels, which have raised concerns about the sustainability of water resources in the region.
  4. Rio Grande (United States and Mexico): The Rio Grande, which forms part of the border between the United States and Mexico, has experienced reduced water flow and declining water levels in recent years due to increased water demand, over-extraction, and climate change. Drought conditions in the region have further exacerbated the challenges faced by the river, leading to concerns about water scarcity and environmental impacts.
  5. Indus River (Pakistan and India): The Indus River, one of the longest rivers in Asia, has been facing challenges of reduced water flow, declining water quality, and environmental degradation due to over-extraction for agriculture, increasing population, and climate change. Several parts of the river have experienced reduced water levels, leading to concerns about water scarcity and its impacts on agriculture and livelihoods in the region.  AICB

Make sure you get saved.

  1. Salvation:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9).   Some other text to consider:

  1. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) – This verse highlights the universal condition of sin that affects all humanity, emphasizing our need for salvation.
  2. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) – This verse emphasizes the consequences of sin, which is death, but also highlights the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ as the solution.
  3. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) – This verse emphasizes the importance of confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in His resurrection as the means of salvation.
  4. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) – This verse emphasizes the inclusive nature of salvation, available to all who call upon the name of the Lord, regardless of their background or past.
  5. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” (John 1:12) – This verse highlights the transformation that occurs when we receive Jesus and believe in His name, becoming children of God.
  6. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) – This verse emphasizes the exclusivity of salvation through Jesus Christ, highlighting that He is the only way to be saved.
  7. “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” (Hebrews 10:14) – This verse emphasizes the completed work of Jesus on the cross, and how through His sacrifice, believers are perfected and sanctified.
  1. Baptism:

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38)

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 28:19)

  1. Repentance:

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” (Mark 1:15)

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)

  1. Change of heart and behavior:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2)

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” (James 1:19-21)
